I agree with you. The Grimms should not be criticized from our point of view. All writers are a product of their society and time. What I find ironic is that those who criticize would be horrified if they read the original stories the Grimms retooled.  Some of these are graphically raw in nature and do not always end happily. We should applaud the Grimm brothers for giving us the stories we have today.</description>
