		<description>I agree about the fairy tales.  The best I could manage with the classic ones was to find updated modern books that rewrote them into a more humorous and less threatening format.  There are a lot of those books available and fun.  One awesome book was about the Rabbi and the 40 witches.  Fabulous!!  Just scarey enough and fun enough and filled with wonderful dialogue like &quot;walking between the raindrops.&quot;

		<description>Yeah, the originals can be pretty frightening. But didn&#039;t Bruno Bettleheim write about the necessity of fairy tales in the child&#039;s development? I read one wonderful book called THE WITCH MUST DIE, about how fairy tails help kids unconsciously processes their fears and work out their ambivalences toward the parents. Don&#039;t know if it was right but it was one hell of an interesting book!</description>

		<description>I agree the originals should be kept from Children. I finally talked to my son about the real Grimm stories when he turned 13. I have the book on my lower shelf now, surprisingly he has never reached for it.
